Future Focused Interview Questions

Interview questions should be asked as well as answered

  1. Where do you see this business in the future?
This shows that you are interested in joining the team long-term and contributing to the company’s future success.  While many people feel that due to a recent recession workers have become disposable, this is not necessarily true.  Employers look for promising candidates that can grow with them.  They don’t want to go through the hiring process for the same position over and over again.
  1. What are the opportunities for advancement?
This question might seem forward, but advancement is something you should always ask about.  It will give you a better grasp on how employees are evaluated and how much room there is for moving up within the company.  Understanding how promotions work is important prior to taking any job.
